Custom Butones pieces are individually designed around your vision, style, and the designer elements available. You can come to me knowing exactly what you want, bring inspiration from an existing Butones piece, or simply tell me what you love and allow me to create something uniquely yours.
I will personally work with you throughout the process, from choosing the elements and materials to developing the final design.
Start by completing the Custom Jewelry Request Form with as much information as you can about what you're envisioning.
Not sure exactly what you want? That's completely fine. Give me a general direction, your preferences, or even just a feeling, and I can develop a design specifically for you.
After your request is submitted, I will personally contact you within 2–3 business days to discuss your vision, available designer elements, design direction, pricing, and estimated completion time.
Custom pieces start at $250, with final pricing determined by the designer element, materials used, complexity of the design, and any special sourcing required.
IF CUSTOM JEWELRY REQUEST WAS SENT VIA INSTAGRAM: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to begin your custom order. The deposit is applied toward the final price of your piece and is not an additional fee.
Your final price will be discussed and approved before production begins.
You may request an element similar to something you've seen on the Butones website, choose from elements currently available, or ask me to source something specific.
Because many designer elements are vintage, repurposed, discontinued, or limited in availability, exact elements and exact reproductions cannot always be guaranteed. If something specific isn't available, I'll work with you to explore alternatives.
Custom orders may also be used to rework or alter an existing Butones piece currently available on the website.
Most custom pieces require approximately 2–4 weeks after the design is finalized. Orders requiring a rare or specifically sourced designer element may take longer. Any extended timeline will be discussed with you during the design process.
Every custom order is a collaboration, but each piece remains true to the character of Butones — made with intention and heart, individually handcrafted in California, and created especially for you.
