This one is for my silver lovers.
I wanted this one to do more than just sit beautifully on the neck.
The 16 mm Chanel button came from a skirt, and I loved its darker, almost industrial look. The raised Chanel Paris lettering, blackened background, and silver finish already gave it so much character, so I built the necklace around that feeling.
The rhodium plated sterling silver design mixes a fine chain with larger textured links and a front toggle that can be adjusted to change the length and the way the piece falls. It can be worn closer to 18", longer toward 20", or styled with the drop more pronounced depending on how you fasten it.
The pendant is also removable through its opening bail, which means it does not have to stay married to this necklace. Wear it on another chain, clip it onto a bracelet, add it to a charm stack, or use it wherever you want that little piece of Chanel to show up.
That kind of versatility is something I really love building into my pieces. I want the hardware to have more than one life.
