This one is a little equestrian, a little romantic, and very Butones.
The focal hardware began as an authentic Gucci horsebit element from a bag. Instead of adding more designer branding around it, I wanted the shape of the hardware itself to become the statement. The oversized rings and sculptural horsebit already have such a recognizable, beautifully engineered form, so I built around that with a heart-detailed chain that softens the piece without making it overly sweet.
I love the contrast here: something originally functional and masculine from a handbag becomes this polished, feminine necklace. And if you look closely, the tiny hearts running through the chain are almost like a little secret, you notice the bold hardware first, then discover the softer details afterward.
Styling-wise, I would keep everything else simple. White button-down, black tank, linen, denim, an oversized blazer, or even a clean slip dress. This is one of those necklaces that makes the outfit look intentional without needing much else.
